Which red light camera in Virginia Beach, VA generates the most in fines?

According to city records, the camera at Lynnhaven Parkway and Rosemont Road generated the most fines in the past year out of the city’s 11 red light cameras. As of Dec. 4, the city collected $94,770 in fines from that location.

Close behind was the camera at Virginia Beach and Independence boulevards with $90,770, and the one at General Booth Boulevard and Dam Neck Road with $83,800.

The way it works is the cameras “capture events,” said Virginia Beach FOIA technician Heather Tuttle.
