US roadway fatalities see decline while pedestrian, pedalcycling fatalities increase

Road fatalities are on the decline for the second straight year, according to data released by the U.S. Department of Transportation. The data, released by the departments National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), showed a 2.4% decline in overall fatalities in 2018 across the United States.
