There has been a series of motorcycle safety recalls in the US lately. Triumph Motorcycles is releasing its second recall in recent days. This time, Triumph is recalling certain Street Scrambler and Street Twin motorcycles.
A potentially misrouted wiring harness is the culprit. Triumph says the bike’s wiring harness may come into contact with the lower lug on the main frame headstock damaging the wiring harness. A damaged wiring harness could potentially cause the engine to stall and increase the risk of a crash. In all, a total of 2,224 motorcycles may have this defect.
