There’s an effort in Olympia to stop congestion pricing (SB 5104), road usage charge (SB 5255)

Two driving-related bills being proposed in Olympia would prohibit local jurisdictions from tolling vehicles and keep the state from implementing a pay-per-mile program in rural counties.

Senator Tim Sheldon (D-Potlatch) is the primary sponsor of both bills. He says congestion pricing and charging drivers per mile are concerns for his constituents who travel long distances without as many public transit options.
