You could soon be paying more to renew your driver’s license and license your vehicle.
These fees are the only source of income for the 174 license offices around the state.
KOLR10 spoke to Chrystal Webster, the executive director of the breast cancer foundation of the Ozarks, who also runs licensing offices.
She said this bill really is necessary to keep their offices open.
“I’m not super big on increasing fees, but I am in favor of keeping these offices open,” said representative Jeff Knight, the sponsor of the bill.
