Orange County toll agency reaches $41M settlement in California toll lawsuit

More than 1 million motorists who received toll penalties on certain California toll roads, including the 91 Express Lanes, may get some of that money back after toll collectors reached a settlement in a class action lawsuit. On April 12, the Orange County Transportation Authority reached a settlement valued at $41 million in a lawsuit accusing the agency of illegally sharing personally identifiable information of motorists on the 91 Express Lanes.
