North Dakota lawmakers will revisit raising the speed limits on interstates this session

Another attempt will be made this legislative session to increase the speed limits on North Dakota’s interstate and divided highways.

Grand Forks Representative Jake Blum is the primary sponsor of a bill to bump to limits on I-29 and I-94 from 75 to 80 mph. The limits on multi-lane highways – including Highway 2 – would jump from 70 to 75 mph.
