Motional and Lyft resume self-driving service in Las Vegas

General Motors is recalling certain 2018 full-size SUVs and pickup trucks equipped with either a 5.3-liter V-8 or 6.2-liter V-8. A faulty vacuum pump in the affected vehicles could cause a loss in braking, increasing the risk of a crash, General Motors reported in paperwork filed with the NHTSA on Monday.

The recall is an extension of a massive order announced in September 2019 in the wake of a federal investigation that resulted in the recall of 3.46 million GM full-size SUVs and trucks from the 2014-2018 model year.
