Ohio: More complaints of speed traps in Brice, chief defends practices

After years of stories and investigations in a local village’s so-called speed trap, the complaints continue. But Delano “Bud” Bauchmoyer defends his department’s practices. ABC 6 got a complaint from a driver who was ticketed by mail and complained she never saw a cop and was never pulled over. Bauchmoyer tells us that is legal. His officers patrolling the half-mile stretch of Brice Rd have speed cameras that send results to a third party, which mails the tickets to drivers.
