Lights, camera, infraction: Pasco, Washington police install 2 ‘red light cameras’

Police have a warning for drivers: running red lights in two of Pasco’s busiest intersections will cost them $125.

They’ve installed electronic traffic-control systems, or ‘red-light cameras’, though they’re not planning to fire them up until April 15.

The cameras are at Road 68 and Burden Blvd. as well as Court St. and 20th Avenue.

Pasco field operations division Capt. Jeff Harpster says the ultimate goal is for folks to stop racing red lights.
