Mississippi: Law Enforcement civil administrative forfeiture bill has conservatives on both sides

Civil Administrative Forfeiture law had been on the books since the ’80s. It allowed law enforcement agencies to seize property with a value of up to $20,000 in the event that there was a violation of the Uniformed Controlled Substance Act.
