Honda recalls about 107,000 Odyssey minivans in U.S. for latch issue

America Honda is recalling 107,000 Odyssey minivans in the U.S. over a latch malfunction that may cause the power sliding door to open when the vehicle is in drive, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The recall covers certain 2018 and 2019 Odyssey vehicles. “The latch assemblies for the power sliding doors may stick and not properly latch to the door strikers,” NHTSA said on its website. “If the power sliding doors fail to latch, the doors may open while moving, increasing the risk of injury.”
