The 20-mile bypass will cost a motorist $2.54 each way if the automobile is equipped with an NC Quick Pass transponder, which allows the N.C. Turnpike Authority to debit the cost of a toll from an online account. It’s $3.92 each way if the state has to bill you for the drive.
