Canadian Editorial: Should we put a price on congestion in Montreal?

Not only is London making vehicles pay to enter high-traffic sectors, as of Monday it will make the owners of older, more polluting cars and trucks pay a higher fee, as part of its Ultra Low Emissions Zone. It’s a one-two punch to limit congestion and tackle climate change.

Both of these cities — as well as Singapore, Stockholm, and Milan, to name a few — may offer important lessons for Montreal, should we ever decide to go the same route.
