Caltrans considers speed limit increase on section of Highway 32 in Orland

Caltrans recently made a recommendation to increase the speed limit for a section of Highway 32 in Orlando by 5 mph based on a recent traffic survey.

The Engineering and Traffic Study that Caltrans conducted is done to ensure the speed limit is appropriate for the area and that it remains enforceable.

A recent survey confirmed current speeds in Orland on all but on section of Highway 32 (or Walker Street) between Third and Seventh streets.

The current speed limit is 25 mph, and if increased, it would be 30 mph.
