Baldwin County, Alabama residents launch campaign opposing tolls for Mobile River Bridge project

Baldwin County residents have launched a campaign opposing tolls proposed by ALDOT to pay for the $2 billion Mobile River Bridge and Bayway replacement project.

According to the Alabama Department of Transportation, the segmented tolls would be issued by license plate, and range from $3 to $6 dollars depending on a motorists route.

Dr. Lou Campomenosi, a Fairhope resident, helped launch the Stop the Toll campaign online.
