AAA NorCal is putting its money behind a driverless future

GoMentum Station is on a roll, landing a new owner as interest in self-driving vehicles accelerates and demand for autonomous vehicle testing rises with it.

GoMentum, one of 10 autonomous vehicle testing facilities in the United States and the largest, was acquired by the local chapter of AAA Northern California in August. The deal expands on AAA’s previous one-year partnership, said Suna Taymaz, chief strategy officer for the auto club’s local affiliate. The Concord-based GoMentum is now part of AAA Northern California’s innovation portfolio.
