600+ drivers illegally pass school buses in Pinellas County in one day

Putting kids within inches of danger.

In a single day, school bus drivers in Pinellas County counted more than 600 drivers illegally passing stopped school buses. With the start of school on Wednesday in Pinellas County, deputies are urging drivers to pay attention or be prepared to pay a hefty fine.

More than 50 Pinellas County School buses now have 360-degree cameras on the outside of the bus. The cameras help drivers see children as they load and unload and also capture video of drivers recklessly breaking the law.
