Thank you for this, Fedup Driver.
For a few months now, a speed camera has been parked in the 800 block of Huey P. Long Avenue just a block down from the mayor’s mansion.

That camera got me a couple of months ago and issued my first ticket in 30-plus years doing one MPH over the regular limit, but I didn’t realize the school zone was in effect.
OK, so I accept that and paid the ticket while being vigilant to watch for that camera since. I drive the route regularly every day to work.

Today (12/30), I see that camera parked there and drove well under the speed limit (not a school day) and still saw the flash of the cameras.
I can only hope they catch the mistake before sending me a ticket, but I’m not too optimistic.
