Is there a Law that prohibits two different Traffic Signs on the same corner.
In Haledon, NJ intersection of Central and Broadway – there is a sign “Multiple turning lanes” that depicts of two parallel turning arrows. This is posted on the side of the street, and on the traffic light. (have photos) And on the road they have painted a different sign, which is a straight arrow and a turning arrow, the sign painted on the street is often obscured by other cars – it is more difficult to see.
I followed the signs above ground level, and got a ticket.
Is there a LAW that protects drivers from such misleading and confusing signage?
Any law that prohibits using two different signs in the same corner?
