Bill HB 150 was introduced on January 10, 2019 and has not yet been assigned to a committee.

The bill requires a law enforcement officer to make a clear statement to a motorist during a traffic stop about that motorist’s rights to consent to disallow a search of the vehicle. The officer may not proceed with a search unless a clear statement of consent is received from the driver.
