IMMEDIATE ATTENTION: Oppose SB509 and SB917 in Virginia House TODAY

Virginia’s House Militia, Police and Public Safety Subcommittee will hold a hearing on a pair of bills to install deadly speed cameras across the state. The Senate has already passed both bills, these bills must die. Hearing is Thursday, February 22 at 7:30am

The Bills are as follows:

SB 509: Handheld photo speed monitoring devices: State Police may operate a device in or around work zones.

SB 917: Handheld photo speed monitoring devices: Officer may operate near school crossing zone.
