Immediate Attention: Have you ever received a speeding ticket in Warwick, Omega, Greenville or Tabotton, Georgia?

Dear NMA Georgia Members,

Fox 5 Atlanta Reporter Randy Travis has been working on a big story about Georgia speed traps.

He would like to interview motorists who have been given a speeding ticket in the following cities:

  • Warwick in Worth County
  • Omega in Tift and Colquitt Counties
  • Greenville in Merriweather County
  • Tabotton in Talbot County

Please send this email to your family and friends so we can widen the circle and help this reporter expose how these speed traps affect regular people.

If you or someone you know has received a speeding ticket and would like to be interviewed, please contact the NMA Communications Director Shelia Dunn at nma@motorists.org.  She will need the following information to send to Mr. Travis: Name, date and city of the speeding ticket, phone number and email address.

Please remember that the NMA opposes all speed traps because these kinds of enforcement tactics are intended to generate revenue from technical violations of underposted speed limits.

Also, if you have ever been caught in a speed trap at any time, the NMA encourages you to let everyone else know about it at www.speedtrap.org.

Thank you for your help on this and for supporting motorists’ rights in Georgia!
