Softlights.org has started a petition to ban overly bright headlights. The petition asks Congress, the Department of Transportation and NHTSA to take this matter seriously and ban all blue-light technologies on vehicles and to limit headlights, taillights, brake lights, turn signals, and flashing lights to a maximum peak luminance of human-safe 280 nits.
