Recently, I was found guilty for free/elud and resist arrest. When asked why I was being followed, the police officer said I looked suspicious because I had a leather coat on. I was not speeding or driving reckless, in court that is what was told why I was being followed. It was in January and around 8 degrees, I was cold and the coat is warm. This is not right and the lawyer did present my situation well, I do not understand how this could happen. I will share a e-mail that I sent to the Mayor of Bloomfield Hills and he did forward to the chief of police.

On Saturday, January 31, 2006 I was followed by a police officer to the residents of a Winston Myint Htwe, M.D. at 1057 Stratford Lane, Cranbrook Manor in Bloomfield Hills. When I got out of my Explorer, he was there with a Taser Gun telling me to stop, I told him what ever I did I will be right back I had to use the rest room, I have a urology problem. The officer used a Taser gun at the door and missed me and then kicked in many door at the Doctors residents and even hand cuff the Doctor and myself and told me I was going to jail and was under arrest and I did not even know what I had done. My car was taken away and a trash bag was empty in the seat of my car and every thing was a mess. He took money, check book, work ID, and many other items and went into my personal items and even put his hands in my pockets and took my medication, money and other items. I still did not know what I had done. This was worse than I am writing, I do not use the words that the officers used toward me. One officer knocked me down and put his foot on the side of my head and stomped the side of my head and then he jumped on my back and kicked and stomped on my back with knee and foot. I was asking what did I do to be treated this way, what have I done. NO one would say. I was pulled up by the handcuffs, they hurt my hands, back and neck. My pants fell down when the jerked me and they took me out to the police car with my pants down in the winter weather. NO one should be treated this way, I was not even told what I did wrong. I had done nothing wrong and then put into the Jail for 3 days.

This is what the Chief of police wrote to me by e-mail when I did share with him what was done to me for nothing, he just called me a felon and felt like it was ok. People need to be careful and aware of the bloomfield Hills Police in Michigan. The police will hide and watch people every day and then lie and beat you up and then the police officer will cry in court and say, I looked suspicious because of me wearing a leather coat and I could of been a drug dealer, I am a 53 year old man that is a deacon at the largest church in Ann Arbor, MI I am not a felon or a drug dealer.

The in car video shows you had committed a felony by speeding off after having stopped once for about 3 seconds then roll forward and stop for about 2 seconds then were being pursued by a fully marked police unit with emergency lights flashing.

The officer was ordering you, a fleeing felon (you have disagreed with this), to stop while he had his Taser drawn

The officer used a Taser gun at the door and missed me
A check of the recording chip in all of the Tasers on the scene that day found no one had fired a Taser

and then kicked in many door at the Doctors residents
Because you had committed a felony, failed to stop for a lawful order and fled into the Doctor’s home the Officer was entitled by law to continue to pursue you

and even hand cuff the Doctor
This was temporary to sort out what exactly was going on, he was uncuffed as soon as a determination was made about his standing in the matter

and myself and told me I was going to jail and was under arrest and I did not even know what I had done.
During the process of being handcuffed, while you were resisting arrest by tucking your hands under your body, you were advised you were under arrest for fleeing and eluding

My car was taken away and a trash bag was empty in the seat of my car and every thing was a mess.
Your car was impounded incident to arrest and the interior and contents searched

He took money, check book, work ID, and many other items and went into my personal items and even put his hands in my pockets and took my medication, money and other items.
This is standard booking procedure

I still did not know what I had done.
You were advised previously.

This was worse than I am writing, I do not use the words that the officers used toward me.
This wasn’t a casual conversation, you were being ordered to comply and resisting arrest, Officers were using loud verbal harsh language commands to gain your compliance

One officer knocked me down and put his foot on the side of my head and stomped the side of my head and then he jumped on my back and kicked and stomped on my back with knee and foot.
You were already face down on the floor in a confined area and when you tucked your hands and arms under you, force was used to pull you hands out to be handcuffed.

I was asking what did I do to be treated this way, what have I done. NO one would say.
Not unusual after just having struggled with someone

I was pulled up by the handcuffs, they hurt my hands, back and neck.
They also had hold of you by your shoulders when you were stood up

My pants fell down when the jerked me and they took me out to the police car with my pants down in the winter weather.
Your pants fell down while going to the car, the officers pulled them up as an in car video shows your pants were up when loaded into the car

NO one should be treated this way, I was not even told what I did wrong. I had done nothing wrong
You did do something wrong, you committed a felony by fleeing from the Officer

and then put into the Jail for 3 days.
You were taken in to custody around 4:30 PM Saturday, lodged in Oakland County Jail around 9 PM Saturday, in jail all day Sunday and arraigned at the 48th District Court Monday morning

This man was not there when I was beat up and now, I have to have plastic surgery on my head. How can he say I committed a felony when I did not even know the police was behind me until I got out of my car and there he was with a Gun pointed at me. In court the police said I was not speeding or driving bad, I just looked suspicious.

It is wrong for this man a Chief of police to write the things about me and they are not even true, he was not at the home that the police kicked in doors and shot the home up with a taser gun.

PEOPLE OF BLOOMFIELD HILLS NEED TO BE AWARE OF THIS MAN AND VOTE HIM OUT OF OFFICE, IF THIS HAS HAPPEN TO ME, I AM SURE IT HAS HAPPEN TO OTHERS. The Chief of Police of Bloomfield Hills said in the e-mail to me this is usual treatment for a Felon, how can some one be called a felon when I did not even know what I had done wrong and now I find out it is because I had on a leather coat.

Recently, I found out that now, I have to have Plastic surgery on my head where I was Kicked in the head, now I have several large
lumps and have to be taken out by surgery. The Jury members were shown my head and they still said I was guilty.

Last Sunday, I saw the same two Police officers in different police cars that had people stoped and giving them tickets. The same officer that kicked me in the head was at the passenger's side while the one that tried to shot me with a taser gun was on the driver's side this was two different times they had people stoped and it is always when one person is in the car so there is no witness.

When I went to the court in Pontiac I was asked to sign a statement that I would not sue
the City of Bloomfield Hills, because if I did not, the Police officers were in the court room
and they were going to push for Jail time for me. So, it looks like I can not sue, but I am sure
Winston Myint Htwe, M.D. will sue the Police Department, the officer came into his home and he
was not invited and Kicked in many doors and even handcuff the doctor for nothing and the same
officer shot up the home with a Taser Gun and in the e-mail from the Chief of Police he wrote that
the Taser gun was not used and we all saw it used, there was 3 people in the Home that saw how I
was beat up and how the home was damaged, so that is ok, I do not have to sue but the Doctor and the
owner of the Home will Sue the Police and the city of Bloomfield Hills, they lied and he can prove it in
court. The security camera's in the home will prove what the Police did to us that day, the court did not
feel it was needed during my trial, but the new trial will have the security camera's as enough proof and
it will be seen on a few TV stations soon, to prove the e-mail from the chief of police and what was done
at the home was not the same, he said the taser gun was not used, we have proof of how the police officer
shot up the home and later said the gun was not even shot. Also how the one police officer kicked my head so
many time that I had to have Plastic surgery, also he stomped on my hands after the handcuffs were on, also
that is on the security camera recording.

We will soon see what the police has to say when the see the security camera recording
as to what they did in the Bloomfield Hills, home and for what ? In court the police officer said
I looked suspicious and called me a felon. we can prove I did nothing wrong in the next court
trial and this time the Security camera recording will be there to prove what they did.

Soon, I will have a new Trial with my New Attorney, we will see what the Police officers in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan
will say in the Next Jury trial. How, they can get away with what was done to me it is not right and I am sure the
next trial will prove that. The Chief of Police called me a felon and the Police Officers in court called me a felon and
lied about me, it looks like the Jury did go along with the police, but I feel they were just mad at the Judge, because they had 9 questions
for the Judge and he refused to answer any of the questions for them, after he made them wait for over 6 hours, so they came back
in 20 min. with guilty after the Judge made them wait and wait for nothing, so they took it out on me. When the Police said I just
looked suspicious and I did nothing wrong, it was a fact that I was not guilty of any thing. The truth will come out with the new
trial and New Lawyer. Maybe this time the News Media will put my story on the news. If the Bloomfield Hills Police will do this to
me a 52 year old man that did nothing wrong, they are doing this to others and this is not right.

When you think of the Police department in any town, you think that they are there to help others, not in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The Police will break into some one's home and the Chief of Police will say it is ok. To me it is not ok, to have your home damaged and they do not pay for the damage. Once, you failed to stop you gave them the ability to do everything they did.

Fleeing and Eluding is now a felony in Michigan. It used to be a misdemeanor but was upgraded a few years back after some high profile police chases involving deaths of motorists who were not involved in the chase.

IMO, It is best to comply with officers directives. If they are wrong or unjust you can straighten it out later in court or through complaints. If you argue on the side of the road than what happens a lot of time is exactly what happened to you.

Yes, I have heard of the Law...........
I did nothing wrong to flee from any one, they lied on the Police report. In court, they told, I just
looked suspicious to them, because I had on a leather coat that I was not speeding or driving

How can I be found guilty for doing nothing wrong, just my word against the police and they police
did win this time.

People just need to be aware of the Bloomfield Hills Police Department, they will beat you and later
lie about it in court.

This did not happen on the side of the road, them came to the Drive way of a medical Doctor in Bloomfield Hills and came into his home by kicking in doors and shooting a taser gun. I did have my say in court and I was found guilty for doing nothing wrong, the police officer said in the court room, my drive was fine, and I did not speed, I just looked suspicious because I had a leather coat on and the Jury went along with this and found me guilty. The Police officer sat on the witness stand and cried and said I could of been a bank robber, or a kidnapper and this is for no reason. With all of my health problems, if I would of stood there in the drive way and let him shoot me for doing nothing wrong, I would of died. I am 53, and I have not had a speeding ticket for over 30 years. I did NOT flee and elud any one, I did not know he was behind me. A neighbors has told me that the officer did not even have his siren on as he told in court that he did have it on, I sure did not hear or see him until I got out of my car in the Doctors drive way.

Thanks to the person that wrote about this, I do appreciate it and the Police are still out on Woodward looking for cars with only one person
in them and stopping them, I still see it every day. There are even parked in front of the Doctors home and when he walks his dog, there they are saying, good morning. They are now like stawkers looking for me.

This is not right and others need to be aware of the Two officers that are doing this, it is not the whole Police department. One officer is wonderful and so kind and if any one is interested, just contact me and I would be glad to share more information with you.

Soon, I have the plastic surgery on my head for all the injury from being kicked, the police did take me to the Hospital after the fact and the Hospital did nothing for me, they took a x-ray and say you are ok, you can go to jail now. The hospital bills keep comming and they would not take my health insurance information, so I tell them to bill the police department they caused my injusy's and pain that I still have every day and they just laugh and made joke's in the hall of the court Building in Pontiac when the Trial was.

My town police put put 8 bullets into a drunk guy with a baseball bat, in the hallway of an apartment building, and it took them 18 shots from about two fett away???. We can now have fat cops with guns since fitness and brains don't matter!!!

My county shot and killed a stroke victim to death in his car when he wssn't responding properly at a stop!!!

Oct, 20th, I was given the sentence for the situation that I have been writing about. The Police of Bloomfield Hills said if I would said a paper from their Lawyer saying that I would not sue the Police Department for what was done to me, that they would not push for Jail time. I did sign the paper and I was given probation, had to pay alot of $$$ in fines and do some community service.

To be called a felon and guilty for something I did not feel I did wrong, I did not see the Police behind me and I did not know what they wanted
when they were behind me in the Drive way with a gun pointed at me, I thought a real police officer would not point a gun at me for a reason, I
asked what I did wrong and he said I am the Bloomfield Hills Police, you stop or I will shoot you. If, I would of got shot, I would of died with all my medical problems and I do not understand why the jury did not believe me.

Well, I can not say what the owner of the home will do because of having his home shot up with a taser gun, doors kicked in and he was put into hand cuffs, a Medical Doctor for doing nothing wrong, not one knock on the door, just kick in doors and the chief of Police said the is usual procedure for the Bloomfield Hills Police. Dr. Htwe, sure is not happy about this and he does not feel safe at his home now. This week, I go for plastic surgery on my head where I was kicked by the Large police officer many times after being in handcuffs on the side of my head and back and I am guility for what, not standing in the drive way and let the young police officer shoot me

So, we will see if Dr. Htwe is going to sue the Police, I do not know, the way I look at this is if they would do this to me they are doing this to other residents of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and I do hope the News will have my story on the TV soon before someone does get killed and shot by the young police officer that does shoot his taser gun first and talk later with lies

This week by mail, I am told I can not drive for one year and I have to pay another 2 thousand $$ fine this one to the
sec of State. If, i take a Cab to work and back, it will be between $30.00 and $40.00 each way per day. It is like
they want we back in Jail, because if I do not pay the fines, I go back to jail and if I do not get to work, I can not
pay the fines.

This week, I got a letter from the Lawyer and he tells me that the case is closed and he will not help me to get my
driver lic back, so I can get to work and then home and to the Doctors visits that I have after the plastic surgery from the
beating. The staples and stiches are out and the bleeding has not stopped and the pain comes and goes. After told that i am
guilty for something that I did not even do, it is a wonderful way to say good bye to some one that Paid 10 thousand $$ up front
before the lawyer would do any thing. It is too bad that after the Police officer said that I did not speed, or drive bad, I just looked
suspicious because I had on a leather coat. NO, the lawyer went along with the police and now tells me, I am guilty and will not
help me and feels like I got my money's worth. well, I am now found guilty, have to pay fines of over 8 thousand$$$, on probation, and now
no drivers lic. This man feels like I got my $10, 000.00 worth when the police did say, I just looked suspicious. He should of got me
off when the police said I did nothing wrong. It was like he was friends with the Bloomfield Hills Police the way he would sit and talk
to them and laugh and make jokes while I am sitting all alone in the court room. People do not feel that the Law firm that does cost
more will help you, I found out No that sure is not true. I could of got a cheap lawyer and still be in the same situation. So, remember
the best is not always who will cost the most, the best is who will help you and prove you to be NOT guilty and belive in you .
